Role: Wayside Designer / Contracting Officer Representative Level II (COR)
As a Wayside Exhibit Designer with the National Park Service, I am responsible for the design and development of wayside exhibits and indoor three-dimensional museum exhibits. My key duties and achievements include:
Designing innovative wayside exhibits that enhance visitor engagement, education, and foster relationships between the general public and America’s most sacred sites.
Serving as a technical reviewer and expert on industry and NPS media practices, focusing on accessibility, sustainability, and technical innovations.
Leading collaborative efforts with Project Managers, Media Specialists, and Contractors to establish project scope, timelines, budgets, and staffing requirements to meet NPS goals and objectives.
Served as Lead Designer for U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón's signature project, Poetry in Parks, where I conceptualized and developed the overall execution of the project from a visual standpoint, helping bring ideation to final fabrication and installation.
Assisted in the development of wayside exhibits for various National Park Service sites, such as Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, and many more.
Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative Level II (COR), managing Planning, Design, Fabrication and Installation contracts for multiple NPS sites throughout the country.
