Role: Wayside Designer / Contracting Officer Representative Level II (COR)

As a Wayside Exhibit Designer with the National Park Service, I am responsible for the design and development of wayside exhibits and indoor three-dimensional museum exhibits. My key duties and achievements include:

  • Designing innovative wayside exhibits that enhance visitor engagement, education, and foster relationships between the general public and America’s most sacred sites.

  • Serving as a technical reviewer and expert on industry and NPS media practices, focusing on accessibility, sustainability, and technical innovations.

  • Leading collaborative efforts with Project Managers, Media Specialists, and Contractors to establish project scope, timelines, budgets, and staffing requirements to meet NPS goals and objectives.

  • Served as Lead Designer for U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón's signature project, Poetry in Parks, where I conceptualized and developed the overall execution of the project from a visual standpoint, helping bring ideation to final fabrication and installation.

  • Assisted in the development of wayside exhibits for various National Park Service sites, such as Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, and many more.

  • Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative Level II (COR), managing Planning, Design, Fabrication and Installation contracts for multiple NPS sites throughout the country.
